# Reading Results and Applying a Winner

## Interpret confidence and conversion lift, then roll the winning variant out to everyone.

### Overview

As an experiment runs, Prism reports progress and a recommendation. Once a winner is clear, you can apply it.

**How to read results**

1. Open the experiment to see days running, sessions exposed, and the confidence score.
2. Compare the conversion rate of control and treatment.
3. Read the recommendation banner, which tells you whether the treatment won, the control won, or it is too early.

**Applying the winner**

- If the treatment won, click Apply winning settings to roll it out to all shoppers.
- Archive completed experiments to keep a record.

**Tip:** Wait for the recommendation to call a winner before applying. Ending too early risks acting on noise.
