Search Tuning: Keyword vs AI Weight

Overview

Prism blends two kinds of matching: keyword matching, which finds the exact words, and AI matching, which understands meaning. The Search Tuning card lets you set the balance.

1. Open Settings and find the Search Tuning card.
2. Move the Keyword weight slider. The AI weight adjusts automatically so the two always total 100 percent.
3. Save and test a few searches in Search Preview.

• More keyword weight suits exact catalogs like parts, where the precise term matters.
• More AI weight suits descriptive catalogs like apparel, where shoppers use varied language.

Tip: Make small changes. A shift of 10 to 20 percent is usually enough to notice a difference.
