Understanding Query Pages and Vendor Pages
Two different kinds of auto-generated pages, built by two different rules.
Overview
Prism creates two kinds of SEO landing pages automatically, and they show up together in your SEO Pages list. Knowing the difference helps you understand why a given page appeared.
Query pages
Built from your shoppers' own popular searches. A search term needs enough weekly volume, and needs to return real products, before Prism turns it into a page.
Vendor pages
Built one per vendor, for any vendor with enough products in your catalog. These don't depend on search volume at all, so a vendor page can appear even if nobody has searched for that brand by name yet.
Use the Vendor / Brand tab on the SEO Pages list to see just these pages.
Tip: Both types start as unpublished drafts, and neither type overwrites a title, slug, or meta description you've already edited by hand.
