Instead of choosing a single variant, customers step through category-based selections — such as frame, motor, controller, and finish — and see a real-time total price as they configure. ### Key Features - **Guided configuration** — Customers select options across multiple categories on the storefront. - **Real-time pricing** — The running total updates instantly as items are selected or changed. - **Saved Quotes** — Customers can save a configuration and submit it for a custom quote. ![Requires Premium+ plans](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/hs-fs/hubfs/badge_premium_plus_plans-png-2.png?width=86&height=23&name=badge_premium_plus_plans-png-2.png) - **Quote management** — Receive, review, and mange customer quotes directly inside the app. - **Conflict and compatibility rules** — Automatically block incompatible item combinations or enforce required pairings. ![Requires Premium+ plans](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/hs-fs/hubfs/badge_premium_plus_plans-png-2.png?width=86&height=23&name=badge_premium_plus_plans-png-2.png) - **Analytics** — Track quote volume, conversion rates, revenue, and customer behavior. ![Required Advanced+ plans.](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-11-2026-04-50-08-8475-PM.png?width=88&height=19&name=image-png-Mar-11-2026-04-50-08-8475-PM.png) ### How It Works One Shopify product becomes the parent wrapper for a fully customizable configuration. You define categories (groups) and link each category to a Shopify collection. Every product in that collection becomes a selectable option on the configurator storefront widget. This removes the need to manage dozens of product variants, gives customers a clear guided experience, and provides you with actionable quoting and purchasing data.  Next:  [How to Install NetSource Configurator](https://shopify-apps-kb.nsource.com/shopify-apps-kb/how-to-install-netsource-configurator?hsLang=en) - [Configurator](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/configurator?hsLang=en#main-content) - [Getting Started](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/configurator?hsLang=en#getting-started) - [Billing & Plans](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/configurator?hsLang=en#billing-plans) - [Products & Configurations](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/configurator?hsLang=en#products-configurations) - [Quotes & Quoting](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/configurator?hsLang=en#quotes-quoting) - [Reports & Analytics](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/configurator?hsLang=en#reports-analytics) - [Conflict Resolution](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/configurator?hsLang=en#conflict-resolution) - [Price Sync](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/configurator?hsLang=en#price-sync) - [Settings](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/configurator?hsLang=en#settings) - [Troubleshooting](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/configurator?hsLang=en#troubleshooting) - [Video Guides](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/configurator?hsLang=en#video-guides) - [Privacy Policy](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/configurator?hsLang=en#privacy-policy) - [Configurator Marketing Automation Add-on](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/configurator-marketing-automation-add-on?hsLang=en) - [Prism Search & Merchandising](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#main-content) - [Getting Started](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#getting-started) - [Setup Guide](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#setup-guide) - [Dashboard](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#dashboard) - [Search Preview](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#search-preview) - [Facets & Filters](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#facets-filters) - [Synonyms](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#synonyms) - [Merchandising](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#merchandising) - [Related Products](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#related-products) - [Analytics](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#analytics) - [SEO Pages](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#seo-pages) - [A/B Tests](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#a-b-tests) - [Plans & Billing](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#plans-billing) - [Settings](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#settings) - [Video Guides](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#video-guides) - [Privacy Policy](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/apps-kb/prism-search-merchandising?hsLang=en#privacy-policy) [![nst-dark-logo-250-2](https://apps-kb.nsource.com/hs-fs/hubfs/nst-dark-logo-250-2.png?width=250&height=65&name=nst-dark-logo-250-2.png "nst-dark-logo-250-2")](https://netsourceinc.com) Copyright © 2026, NetSource NetSource Commerce, Inc. | Headquarters - 3700 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, FL 34471 | Tel (800) 709-3240 | Fax (352) 401-0353
